Over the weekend we were trying out three more exciting kids games from Megableu we had a lot of fun at Halloween trying out some spooky games from Megableu which we reviewed on this blog post. This time we had Alien Mission, Trickin Camel and Cobra Attack to try out and at the end of this post don’t forget you can win all off the games from Megableu just in time for Christmas!
Cue much excitement when the postman delivered the three new games to play and once we had them open we all had a go playing them, what a fun way to spend some time with the girls on a rainy Saturday! Even though our oldest is 16 she joined in and despite her thinking the games would be a little too boring for her (‘well I am a teenager mum!’) she had a lovely time playing them with her little sis. We made a short video to show a little of how the games work (you will have to bare with me as I have only done a few video’s before!) which was really enjoyable to make and see the girls faces as they were playing for the first time, take a look below for all the details.
Alien Mission was similar to the Ghost Hunt game we reviewed during Halloween except this time you wear the goggles and shoot the aliens you can see through (they appear on the goggles) them. As Lara wears glasses I wasn’t sure they would be suitable but they are so roomy that they fit right over them very well without any problem. Suitable for age 5 up this game can be played with up to 5 players taking it in turns to shoot the aliens you see (in your goggles) with the gun supplied. Don’t forget you need 6 AAA batteries to play the game, it’s very simple to set up to play and has been very popular with our youngest daughter – aged 9.
The game progresses with three levels for you to work up to and once you have synchronised your gun to the goggles provided you can start zapping the aliens. Easy and fun to play, just don’t forget to switch them off when you finish so you don’t run the batteries down.
You are being watched by the keeper of the emerald (the spooky red eyes!) and your job is to inch closer to the basket which has motion sensors and take the emerald out of the front before the cobra catches you and jumps up. Again with this game you need 4 AA batteries to play and don’t forget to turn the game off when not in use. Lara loved this game and watching out for the eyes to turn from green (when it’s ok to move forward) to red (when you could get caught by the cobra) and when the cobra caught her the first time by shooting up she really got a fright!
This game challenges you to win on or more of the drinks which the Trickin Camel has on his back, you have to use your skills to take three challenges to win a drink, if you get it wrong though look out as the camel will have a watery surprise for you! The girls found this game fun and as it had the added fun of getting squirted with water, they liked it even more. You can take it in turns to play with up to four players, the suggested age is five and up and it requires 3 AA batteries to play. As you play the game and win the challenges you collect the bottles and the winner of the game is the player who ends up with the most.
