Not tried any yet, trying to lose some weight at the minute and if eating health is this it will be a doddle!

  57. July 2, 2015 / 1:20 pm

Yes, we were without a kitchen for a while and discovered that you can actually get some ready meals that taste really nice! We found a nice low fat fish pie one.

  58. July 2, 2015 / 1:45 pm

My problem is I'm a vegetarian & a lot of the lower calorie (suppossedly) meals such as weight watchers are mainly meat based. I have a problem with gall stones & am waiting for my gall bladder to be removed so I have been eating much healthier, lower calorie foods, but of my own creation rather than ready meals.

  59. July 2, 2015 / 2:25 pm

I have recently tried the slimming world ones.

  60. July 2, 2015 / 2:51 pm

  64. July 2, 2015 / 3:54 pm

No and no, not until I win this!

  65. July 2, 2015 / 4:00 pm

I vary what i eat so cook healthy food and also treats but
it's handy to have something ready made and balanced to grab sometimes.

  66. July 2, 2015 / 6:15 pm

I haven't tried any healthy ready meals. I am a very fussy person to feed. I tend to eat a lot of salads during the warmer months.

  67. July 2, 2015 / 8:24 pm

I haven't tried any of them yet. We usually have plenty of salad in hot weather and less spicy meals.

  68. July 2, 2015 / 11:55 pm

I like my healthy meals all year round. I have tried healthy ready meals (because there are days that cooking from scratch is a challenge!) but can really taste the added sugar/salt in them so always open to something new that might be that lovely healthy ready meal.

  69. July 3, 2015 / 7:29 am

i always try to get the reduced fat meals for my lunch, whatever is on offer, at the mo, weight watchers meals are only 75p at Iceland, so ive been stocking up on those

  70. July 3, 2015 / 11:29 am

i have been trying to eat healthier for a couple of weeks now.

  71. July 3, 2015 / 11:29 am

i have been trying to eat healthier for a couple of weeks now.

  72. July 3, 2015 / 12:49 pm

We always eat reasonably healthy meals and cook most evenings. When it's really hot weather I tend to live on various salads, fruit salads and snacks like crusty rolls with humous spread and filled with meat or fish and lots of salad; We also BBQ a fair bit as it is a quick and healthier option. As long as there's meat on the plate my better half will happily eat anything I cook! I haven't tried many ready meals as I am lactose-intolerant and a lot of prepared food contains milk/milk by-products like whey and lactose etc – it would be nice to have some dairy-free choices to turn to on those nights where I'd like a night off from hours of cooking 🙂

  73. July 3, 2015 / 7:34 pm

I haven't tried any ready meals, but they'd be great for when I'm working late. By the time I get in I just want something quick and easy!

  74. July 3, 2015 / 8:55 pm

I don't really try to eat healthier in the summer but do have more salad..

I am trying to eat a little healthier – not less juts better food as I am over half way through cooking BabaBumpNo3 but I tend to take the eating for 2 a tad too far and as all my bumps are big bumps (people are asking me if I am ready to drop already – I am only 23weeks) I can afford to watch what I eat 🙂

  186. August 11, 2015 / 9:07 pm

  187. August 11, 2015 / 10:04 pm

My diet has gone by the way side this summer 🙁 I lost 3 stone between Jan and May but havent lost anything since – although on the plus side I havent put anything on either 🙂 I wouldnt mind trying these meals – quick and easy

  188. August 11, 2015 / 10:47 pm

To be honest, in the summer, I eat a lot of salads and sandwiches as its just far too hot to cook a hot dinner in the summer x

  192. August 12, 2015 / 7:40 am

I find the low calorie healthy ready meals offered in supermarkets are tasteless & are not substantial. I haven't tried this brand so would be interested to see if they're an improvement.

  193. August 12, 2015 / 7:49 am

We never have ready meals because of all the nasties but if these taste as good as they look they would make my life so much easier

These meals look lovely, my sister-in-law is just out of hospital after a hip operation and her appetite is not good but she has some of Kirsty,s meals in her freezer and enjoyed the sausage and sweet potato mash last night she would be thrilled if I won her this prize

I've never tried healthier ready meal options (didn't know they existed!), though I have definitely been eating healthier over this summer – I've been having great fun with salads, browsing the reduced sections of the supermarket and letting that dictate to a point and coming up with a variety of delicious options 🙂 I don't bother with dressing because I genuinely enjoy them without, so they're super healthy!

  203. August 12, 2015 / 3:40 pm

I've tried Diet Chef meals, and love them to bits. These awesome meals look an equal match, I'm salivating at the thought of sampling them 🙂

  204. August 12, 2015 / 3:55 pm

I have tried weightwatcher meals but would be great to find something healthier!

Healthier meals in the summer definitely, with more colourful salads for lunch.

  208. August 12, 2015 / 8:14 pm
