Win 3 Months Supply Of SpaTone – My Family Ties

I have a great competition to win a 3 month supply of Spatone – a liquid iron supplement enriched with iron and Vitamin C.

If you are not getting enough iron from your diet, and you experience the symptoms of iron deficiency, your health care professional may advise you to supplement your diet with iron.
Not all iron supplements have the same results though, as some are a very high dose which the body doesn’t fully absorb, and you may find that even though you have addressed your body’s low iron deficiency, you are left with the unpleasant side effects.
Spatone liquid iron supplement has been scientifically shown to deliver a far more absorbable form of iron than conventional iron supplements which means fewer of the unpleasant side effects, such as headaches, constipation and stomach upsets.

Each sachet of Spatone is made up of 100% natural iron rich water (sourced from the mountains of Snowdonia) and include both an original flavour and an apple flavour. Spatone is gentle on your stomach and suitable for children and adults and a beneficial addition to pregnancy supplements.

  53. May 15, 2015 / 2:16 pm

Nothing at the moment but have been looking into them

  54. May 15, 2015 / 2:51 pm

I do take quite a few as I tend to get quite anaemic, and it really stops you from functioning. I take a multivitamin (has to have vit D as I'm also deficient in that), and I also take iodide because lacking thyroid function can also make you very tired. My top tip is go to the docs if you're tired! There's no point suffering in silence, and a blood test and a course of strong iron later, I can function again!

  55. May 15, 2015 / 4:26 pm

I take a course of multivitamins every few months to top up (the doc said it's better to do that than to take them constantly). I used to take cod liver capsules too, but am struggling to swallow capsules, so I stick to chewable multivits.
