Win 2 Fruity OXO Gadgets – My Family Ties

I have a fantastic fruity competition to win both of these innovative gadgets from OXO – a Mango Splitter and a Pineapple Slicer to make your fruit preparation that little bit easier!

Both these fruits are notoriously difficult to prepare so it was just a matter of time before someone invented some very user friendly gadgets to eliminate all those wasted minutes trying to perfectly prepare these tricky fruits!

To enter this competition and win the OXO gadgets all you need to do is enter at the end of this blog post using the Gleam App for multiple ways to win.

What You Will Win

1. The OXO Mango Splitter

Exotic and juicy, mangoes are fabulous in so many dishes and perfect for Summer recipes, why not try one of my Summer smoothies such as my Mango and Lime Smoothie. The downside sometimes is knowing just how to slice them effectively, time to use the quick and easy Mango Splitter from OXO. All you need to do is place your mango stem down onto the Mango Splitter and press down, the result is a perfectly segmented mango with the seed in the middle, all you need to do is remove the flesh and use in your Summer recipes.

Win OXO Mango splitter and a Pineapple Slicer, competition, giveaway, win,

2. The OXO Pineapple Slicer

From OXO you will win this easy to use Ratcheting Pineapple Slicer so you can enjoy fresh pineapple without all the fuss. It’s such a great invention as I am always put off buying fresh pineapple, as preparing the fruit to eat is so tricky without cutting too much or too little off the outside of the fruit. This nifty gadget does it all for you, all you need to do is slice off the top of the fruit and twist the Pineapple Slicer to reveal pineapple rings ready to eat.

  61. July 3, 2015 / 1:07 pm

My favourite fruit is cherries and I confess I am pretty greedy when lucky enough to be invited to raid a cherry tree – I still eat a fair few if I have to buy them! Berries of all kinds are also common in my diet – I eat a lot of fruit and like everything from apples to pomegranates – avocado pears are the only one I don't like and won't eat but I think that has as much to do with the creamy texture as the taste that doesn't appeal to me.

Mango, I'd make mango with Cayenne pepper and lime

  63. July 4, 2015 / 10:54 am
