Every Valentine’s Day I like to find some practical and useful gifts ideas for my OH and I am really lucky that every year I am treated to some really lovely gifts, the most precious are little things I have seen over the year which he has remembered and gone back to buy. I love the funny and romantic cards my OH buys me and re-reading the sentimental lines he writes in them makes me feel lucky we are still so in love. Anyway enough of the slushy stuff! and on to my top six Valentine gifts for him and for her, notice an absence of chocolates here – I’m trying to keep on with the healthy eating plan so all calorific treats are off the list!
1. Braun Series 7 Shaver £249.99
To pull out all the stops this year a really useful Valentine gift for him is the Series 7 shaver from Braun. This really is the king of the shavers and top of my OH’s wish list this year for Valentine’s Day as it’s performance is second to none. I really value practical gifts such as these as for most men it’s a chore they have to go through on a daily basis, and any product that will make the whole experience quicker, more efficient and a pleasure is a huge bonus. Available from Boots, Tesco, Amazon and Argos the Braun Series 7 boasts two foils and a 3 stage cutting system, a Clean & Charge (patented) system to kill 99.9% of germs, 30,000 cross-cutting motions per minute and up to a 30% increase over the shaving area cutting even the shortest hairs.
2. Leighton Denny Light & Dark Fragrance £43.50
Unisex fragrances are few and far between so this four piece offering from Leighton Denny is just the perfect gift this Valentine’s Day. You can choose from Light & Dark Desire or Light & Dark Lively, each are £43.50 and available from LD Boutique and the original fragrance was shortlisted for a coveted Fragrance Foundation Award, the beauty of these fresh scents are that they are unisex, which means I can borrow my OH’s fragrance if I gift it to him this Valentine! The Light & Dark Lively has a fresh crisp citrus scent with grapefruit, lemon, bergamot, nutmeg, ginger cardamom and pepper is the perfect every day scent. While the Light & Dark Desire is also a citrus fragrance it has scents of lemon, grapefruit and bergamot, neroli, vetiver, patchouli, cedar, amber, moss, pepper and nutmeg. This is a fragrance which you can wear day or night and has a lovely woody, musky scent with a clean citrus fragrance as well.

This is a great brush that delivers real results as the combination of natural bristles and nylon tips (you can opt for all natural bristles) do glide through the hair effortlessly.
