Suti Purity Moisturising Balm review by My Family Ties

Suti Purity Moisturising Balm

With Calendula, Chamomile and Lavender

50 ml of restorative, protective balm, which is approved by The Soil Association and carries their Certified Organic seal.  Also ‘Purity’ is 99% organic, the 1% remaining is the Natural Vitamin E.  Packaged in clear, eye catching branding, in a glass container with fresh, modern botanical designs on the labelling, I know it is a bit superficial as what matters is the product and the results, but the pretty, clean, modern look is really eye-catching and enticing.  It retails at £23 for 50 ml but you really don’t need to use a lot, as it does go a long way, this is a real treat and your skin will thank you!

It comes with a little spatula to scoop out what you need so you don’t transfer any bacteria from you fingers into the jar, I used this on my face and neck at night (you only need a little) and on my hands, knees, heels, cuticles and anywhere else I had any dry patches.  I found as it left a filmy residue on the skin that I didn’t use it during the day as it looked a little to shiny on the skin.
The balm contains Sesame, Sunflower and Apricot Kernel and Calendula oils to restore your skin by protecting and deeply nourishing and unrefined Shea Butter (the grainy bits that melt upon contact of the skin) to heal and moisturise. Also Beeswax which helps to protect from environmental damage and is a naturally nourishing moisturiser.

This is a great product that I would recommend to everyone, and it is great to say I can do just that,  as it is targeted for all skin types, which is rare. The scent is amazing and fresh, Lavender, Chamomile and Calendula, such a relaxing, soothing scent , as you apply the balm, a solid oil which is a thick consistency,  the heat of your skin helps to warm the balm and encourage the balm to distribute and makes it easier to work into the skin.

A little really does go a long way with this product, once you have it where you want it, hands, face, neck etc. it is easy to spread around and distribute where you need it.

It feels mildly grainy (the unrefined Shea Butter) but once applied it just melts into the skin and feels so moisturised. Being a balm it is a solid oil but on contact with your skin it transforms into an easy to use oil, which don’t be afraid is not heavy on your skin in any way. I used it on both my daughters as well as myself, on any dry areas like lips, elbows, knees, hands and cuticles.  Lara my eight year old does a lot of gymnastics and gets callouses on her palms, from the bar work, and I found this balm was really good for nourishing this dry area, and she loved the smell.

I did use this as a night treatment,  as it is quite thick and leaves a film like residue on the skin, it encourages you to give your face a good massage while you apply it, as it is so easy to spread around your face.  The morning after you apply, expect to have a soft, smooth moisturised face, it feels really nourished and I used this as my little night time ritual over the course of a six week period and found my skin was really soothed and moisturised.

The scent is divine and so relaxing, both my girls wanted me to massage a little into their hands at night so they could drift away with the tranquil scent predominantly of lavender, but also a fresh zesty scent too.

Feed and restore your skin using this soothing, nourishing balm which will protect and cocoon your skin with healing anti-septic calendula, calming anti-inflammatory chamomile, and rejuvenating, soothing  lavender.  My skin has felt softer, and smoother and the lines on my face after six weeks of using this do look plumped and less noticeable.  The enduring feeling though is that my skin feels so healthy and soft and as my skin is quite sensitive and prone to dryness and reactions, I had none of this with this great balm.

What a wonder, this is a little pot of joy for my sensitive ageing skin, with a heavenly scent, irresistible with significant results.

A British product that delivers real results, is Certified Organic, beautifully packaged and delivers a pure, holistic approach to skincare, I am looking forward to trying other products in the range as I am sure they will match in delivering actual skin solutions, so go ahead Feed Your Skin !
