Spooky Pus Jelly For Halloween – My Family Ties

Halloween Pus Jelly

Here is a fun and different recipe of a childhood favourite.  Why not try this Spooky Halloween Pus Jelly for your Halloween party this year?  It is so simple to make and the only addition is milk to make the ‘pus’.  My girls loved the grossness of the look of these jellies, and thankfully also the taste.   An easy little treat to make for Halloween that you can make a day in advance, so that it is all ready for your party.

1 packet orange jelly

1 packet lime jelly

1/2 pint milk

1/2 pint hot water

  • Make the orange jelly up as per the instructions, but instead of topping up the liquid with cold water, do so with cold milk, stir and add to your containers.

  • Once the first layer of the jelly has set (orange jelly) make the lime jelly as you normally would and then add as a second layer and let it set.

Even though I made this recipe for my two daughters, this is a recipe that most adults would enjoy too.  Or why not try it in shot glasses for the adults by substituting the milk for Bailey’s. Very delicious!

Here are a few spooky Halloween facts that my daughters have been learning this year, some of them were totally new to me.

I hope you have enjoyed my last Halloween recipe for this year, have a lovely Halloween and stay safe.
