Available from the Sugru website

Take a look below at some examples of what Sugru can do, you can learn more about what Sugru can help you with around the home by following the Advent Calendar Sugru have put together for 24 days of December, just head over to the Sugru Website here to see what today’s idea is.

A Yule Log Blessing

“Come, bring, with a noise,
My merry, merry boys,
The Christmas Log to the firing:
While my good Dame she
Bids ye all be free,
And drink to your hearts’ desiring.
With the last year’s Brand
Light the new Block, and
For good success in his spending,
On your psaltries play,
That sweet luck may
Come while the log is a-teending.”
As my OH as an ex tree surgeon this is the perfect Christmas gift for our family, not a chocolate in sight as this Yule Log is made of solid wood. Certainly Wood have come up with the wonderful idea of injecting some tradition into the family this Christmas with the gift of a beautifully-presented log, and also some lovely eco-friendly Flamers (much nicer than paraffin firelighters) and a scroll detailing all the lovely myths and legends surrounding the Yule Log.
Each of the oak Yule log’s is beautifully presented in it’s box, gift wrapped and ready to present to your loved ones.  What a unique and great gift to give as a Secret Santa!
Certianly Wood are proud supporters of Shelter and for every log sold £1 will be donated to the charity and Certainly Wood will match this donation.

Not everyone uses the term Yule Log – here are some of the other terms from across the UK and Europe.

I think this gift idea would make a lovely addition to any family, what a great way to start new traditions within the family and learn a little about folk lore around the world and at £25 I think it offers great value for money.
To buy your Yule Log just head over to the Certainly Wood Website now.
I love to give handy gifts out and this lighter from Zippo is a very useful tool to have. If you are thinking of buying the Yule Log from Certainly Wood, then why not pair it with this useful lighter from Zippo?

The Flexible Neck Utility Lighter is the ultimate accessory for any discerning adventurer or outdoor enthusiast. Perfect for reaching those hard-to-reach places such as outdoor grills and lanterns, as well as candles both inside and outside the house, it could even be used to light the family Christmas pudding!

A practical and stylish gift idea this Christmas is the Ben de Lisi designed tin by Ryvita.
The award winning and internationally acclaimed designer, Ben de Lisi, renowned for his vibrantly modern designs across home-wares and fashion, has teamed up with Ryvita® to create an exciting new limited edition for the popular Ryvita® Tin range.
Ryvita®’s collaboration with Ben follows the first designer tin launched last year, created by Kelly Hoppen, which flew off shelves, selling out in a matter of days.
Featuring Ben’s signature style, the new beautifully colourful Ryvita® tin will instantly brighten up your kitchen counter whilst keeping your favourite Ryvita® Crispbread extra crunchy, fresh and tasty.
The eye-catching tin has an abstract design with splashes of pink, green, orange, yellow and blue, along with Ben’s well-known signature on the side.
Below is a great wall planner for January to help plan your week with tasty meals using Ryvita, join in on Facebook or Twitter with your healthy meal times using the #RyvitaAnythingGoes

I hope these ideas have given you a little inspiration for your Secret Santa gifts this year.
Merry Christmas!
