Earlier this Summer we had the pleasure of meeting up in London with a group of bloggers at a great event hosted by Persil and the wonderful team who represent them. I wrote about our fun family day and a line up of what we cooked in this blog post. In a purpose built food venue in Kensington ( the Maggie & Rose) we spent the day cooking, the kids did all the work and even got to make an amazing food mural with Prudence Staite. Fiona Faulkner was on hand to give the kids all the cooking instruction they needed to create some really tasty dishes and they also got to taste some of her most tasty and nutritious fruit and vegetable juices.
Lots of tasty recipes were made and eaten on the day and as they were healthy, tasty and easy to make we have been making them at home too. Take a look below at the photo and video of the delicious sweet potato, apple and cinnamon pancakes recipe that went down a storm with the children. We had Fiona Faulkner instructing the kids on how to cook the dishes and also how easy it was to incorporate many different fruits as well as vegetables into everyday dishes to keep our kids topping up on their five a day.
