MyChelle Pure Harmony Moisturiser & Serum Review

Two effective products I have been testing over the last month are both from MyChelle from the Pure Harmony range, if you have sensitive skin like mine these could be the perfect for Autumn/Winter to protect and rejuvenate, they are both available from Eterno Naturals.

Pure Harmony Cream £23.00

This nourishing cream is ideal for my sensitive skin and has been of real benefit during the last few weeks of testing it out to soothe my skin as it has been quite dry and irritated with the change in weather. Gentle enough for the most sensitive skin the hydrating cream from MyChelle is packed full of antioxidants and Gardenia Plant Stem Cells to aid the cells to hydrate and plump to give the appearance of younger smoother skin.

The complex ingredients work together to help reduce redness, even out skin tone, hydrate, balance and replenish the skin. It is rich and nourishing and after just seven days use I noticed my skin was much more hydrated as it has been so dry over the last month and I was really impressed that using the Pure Harmony Cream with the Serum improved the texture and hydration in such a short time.

The jar is 1.2 fl oz /35 ml and is vegan and cruelty free with no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, ureas, petroleum, artificial colours or fragrances. No nasties at all to irritate or inflame the skin giving this the thumbs up for sensitive or sensitised skin. The cream itself is a medium weight hydrating cream which sinks in very quickly leaving no sticky residue at all, giving a perfect base for make-up. The scent of the cream is quite strong but is a very fresh Summery fragrance, and the potent balancing and protective properties of the cream help reduce any redness on the complexion.

If you are looking for a moisturiser which is gentle and effective for your sensitive or sensitised skin this is a great start as I have found it has been very soothing and hydrating with the added protection and reduction of any redness on the skin.

Beauty From Within

Pure Harmony Serum £33.00

Once you have cleansed the face next step is to add one or two pumps of a serum such as this Pure Harmony Serum to deeply penetrate into the skin to deliver the best results. As the molecules within serum are smaller than in a creamy moisturiser this results in the serum being able to penetrate deeper into the dermis giving you with time better results than moisturiser alone.

Being rich in antioxidants this serum will help your skin fight against the signs of ageing, reducing the appearance of any puffy skin and helping to restore any damage. All you need is one or two pumps for the whole face and neck and always follow with a moisturiser, I have been pairing it with the MyChelle Cream. As with the moisturiser from MyChelle over the course of my review I have noticed my sensitive skin has responded really well to this serum, I think the key is to be consistent, apply morning and night and after one month re-asses your skin to see if there are any changes as the skin naturally regenerates it’s cells every 28 days.

Not only did I use this serum under my daily moisturiser but I also found it really beneficial to pop on under a hydrating mask.  The serum is 1 fl oz / 30 ml and as you only need a little at a time it lasts really well, the serum has got a strong scent (as has the moisturiser) but it has a very fresh uplifting scent which I really liked.
