My Sunday Photo – My Family Ties

My Sunday Photo

One project I love to do with photography is taking photo’s of hands, and my girls are very obliging when we are out and about, and it is even better when they get a bit mucky and muddy.  It has become a bit of an obsession but I really like to see the changes in their little hands over the years. This week while we were collecting some leaves and pine cones, I took this photo, I had to be quick as Siobhan has spotted some better pine cones further on in the forest, but I’m so glad I did as it is another hand portrait for the project.

That is such a beautiful shot. The sharpness of the hands and blurry background give the photo a certain 'je ne sais quoi'. Pinning on my photography board
