A handful of M&M's in London
A handful of M&M’s

This week we went to London to Hamleys to do some toy testing with Toy Testers TV. So you can imagine the excitement in our house at the prospect of going.  We had a great time and spent about three hours looking around Hamleys in the end. We were all a bit worn out, so after a pit stop for some much needed coffee, we went to the next stop on the girls list which was M&M world.  The girls were in heaven looking around the massive store and they got their treat before we left, which was a big bag of M&M’s each, my goodness they are pricey.
To think  you can pick them up in the local supermarket for 2 for £3 quite often, and us parents (mug’s) ended up forking out about £16 for two bags!  The girls were insistent that they were not just your average, run of the mill M&M’s, no no they were all special colours and so different. We justified this with the fact they had never been been before, (and if Mr MFT has his way, never would again!) and wouldn’t you know it by the time we got home on the train they were almost gone.

my children love M&M world – I find it exhausting and have managed to never buy any actual sweets in there. They do have a great range of "named" stuff where I have found stickers etc with my children's fairly unusual names on.

It certainly is so draining, it was a great trip for them and they really want to go back too 🙂

I know, me neither until a colleague of my other half asked him if we had ever taken the kids there!

We loved M&M World but didn't go with the children…it would be too expensive.

    Thank you for linking up

I've become quite partial to M&Ms since moving to the US, I love all the seasonal coloured ones 🙂

Were they the ones that come in massive tubes so you can pick the colours you want?

They have those at Disney world/universal in Florida, never seen them before in the UK! I would expect they are pricey!
