Another month of the My Little Box subscription box is here and I have to say it is fast becoming one of my favourite beauty box subscriptions which I have treated myself to this year. This month the theme is My Little Dream Box and the contents is beautifully put together as I have come to expect from these gorgeous French inspired beauty boxes.
What keeps me subscribing to this particular beauty box is the attention to detail and also the well chosen, varied products that are practical, stylish, fun and useable. I already have three of their cotton bags put to good use in my handbag, gym bag and swimming bag!
All the little very special touches to this months box are so inspired and pretty, even the cloud shaped card with a quote from Walt Disney “If You Can Dream It You Can Do It” make the My Little Dream Box a unique and covetable subscription box with such a variety of goodies inside.
My Little Dream Box
Necklace “Bonne étoile” by Delphine Pariente £20.00
First out of the box was the beautifully packaged necklace from Delphine Pariente, specially created for My Little Dream Box and encased in a white packet in the shape of a fluffy cloud, padded and stitched waiting to be cut open to display a pretty gold locket on a cord.
“Bonne étoile” or Lucky Star is written on the front of the pretty locket with “Delphine Pariente“ on the back and the soft light coral cord is long enough to adjust to the length you need. It is such a lovely piece of jewellery and I couldn’t wait to open the little “cloud” to see what treasure lay inside, while I was photographing the contents even my two daughters were waiting patiently to find out what the jewellery was!
All subscribers also get a generous 20% off Delphine Pariente’s boutique website where there are plenty of choices for designer finishing touches courtesy of her beautiful jewellery.
Rotating Stamp £8.00 – My Little Corner
What a lovely surprise in this month’s beauty box, I have a love for stationery and this little Rotating Stamper is a perfect addition to my growing collection! It’s retro design and soft green colour looks great on my desk and the 12 messages on the rotating stamp will keep me busy and encourage me to write more letters! It comes with it’s own pad of black ink, this has already been hijacked by my daughters as they loved it too, and wanted to find out all the French words that were on the stamper!
As always plenty of thought has gone into the packaging and the ‘Stamped With Love’ box looked very inviting and added to the mystery when I opened the box up.
Cotton “Do All Things With Love” Bag
I mustn’t forget to add a little about this handy little cotton washable bag, this month the bag has “Do All Things With Love” on the front and these bags are so handy for keeping make-up bits and pieces in. It comes with a draw string to close easily, and I really like the fact it’s washable and big enough to put all your make-up essentials in.
Cowshed Wild Cow Invigorating Body Lotion £18.00 100ml
All the products I have tried from Cowshed smell incredible and this is no exception, with lemongrass, ginger and rosemary to stimulate and invigorate it smells amazing and will moisturise and revive you. I love the inventive names that Cowshed come up with for their products , and the fact that all their products are sulphate and paraben free and have no mineral oil or petroleum is a huge plus for me. The fresh clean scent of pure essential oils smells so natural, and at £18 it’s great value to have such a quality product in this months box.
My Little Beauty Repairing Mask For Dry ends £7.00 100ml
From their own beauty line this hair mask with walnut oil and shea butter smells amazing is really hydrating and smoothing on the hair and I found with my hair that it really helped to detangle and tame my fine hair that tends to be dryer on the ends.
You can either leave it on for 2 minutes or longer for a more intensive treatment, it was lovely to try this conditioning mask out and I would definitely look at buying this in the future as it made my hair feel lovely and soft.
Loved Lou Lesgae Lip Balm £8.00
In a vibrant red “Loved” Lou Lesage lib balm was formulated by Lou Lesage and the My Little Corner team as an essential beauty product to take you through day and night.
It isn’t a shade I would usually choose but I am so glad to have tried it as I love the colour, it’s a balm which has a rich red colour that you can build on to increase the shade and is really moisturising as well as looking fabulous. A great item to keep in your handbag, and the texture and colour is very wearable, I love to have a few lip balms and lipsticks in my handbag and this makes a perfect addition.
Another brilliant month and included in the box I mustn’t forget to tell you was a huge pull out poster with “Everything Starts With A Dream” on a very gorgeously set photo, cleverly on the underside and folded up carefully as a magazine there are plenty of articles to read about all the goodies in the box and interviews with the different brands as well as a handy page to write down all your dreams. More than ever I am looking forward to next month’s box and what theme it will have as well as what will be in the box itself.
