Mother’s Day Gift Guide – My Family Ties

With Mother’s Day fast approaching it’s time to get out thinking cap’s on and come up with some well deserved gifts for all the mother’s out there. I think a home made card is always a special touch, and I always look forward to getting mine on the morning with a cup of coffee. I don’t ever expect any gifts as I am such a lucky mum, my girls are very thoughtful and are always making me little things and presenting me with artwork for me to proudly display. If you are stuck this year for some inspiration on some easy crafts to make for Mother’s Day, take a look at my previous post on Simple Crafts For Mother’s Day for some gorgeous home made gifts.

If you are shopping for Mother’s Day why not have a look at some of these ideas to treat your mum, or if you are a mum yourself you could leave a few hints for your other half to buy for you from your kids!

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Nelsons Arnicare Bath & Massage Balm

Why  not try this indulgent and relaxing bath and massage balm from Nelsons Arnicare. It contains the natural properties of Arnica Montana which can help to soothe and relax you both after a tiring day, while Calendula, Evening Primrose and Sweet Almond Oils naturally hydrate and nourish the skin. It is a unique dual purpose relaxing massage balm which also can create a luxurious fragranced bath to help ease aches.
What I like about this product is the fact it is dermatologically tested, free from parabens, lanolin, mineral oil, SLS’s and PEGs. As a beauty therapist I do look for good mediums for massage and after trying this balm out I have to say it has great glide and leaves the skin silky smooth afterward.

The super stretchy socks are a great fit and you could even wear overnight for an intensive treatment. What better way to treat your mum this Mother’s Day than to give her an indulgent pedicure!

Merumaya Hand Cream

The hydrate and protect hand cream from Merumaya is a moisturising, non-greasy and beautifully scented must have for super smooth hands. I love the fact that Merumaya have added an SPF in this rejuvenating hand cream, as it becomes such a priority as we age to focus on protecting our skin and guarding against harmful UVA/UVB damage. The hand cream itself absorbs so easily into the skin, and another huge benefit is that it doesn’t have any stickiness after applying, so no more waiting around for your hand cream to sink in. This makes a lovely gift for your mum and you may find you will end up using it too!
