Miss Nella Peel Off Nail Polish Review – My Family Ties

Lara just loves everything about being a little girl, from dressing up wearing pretty shoes and putting on nail polish. So she was thrilled when I told her that she was going to be able to try out some pretty coloured nail polish from Miss Nella and couldn’t quite believe it when I told her that once applied and dry she could peel it right off!

Miss Nella Nail Polish

Miss Nella nail polishes are all non toxic, water based and odour free, what I liked about the range is that is very much aimed at children. I know that Lara loves to dress up and putting on nail polish is part of that, she will often try to do it herself and although she is very good quite often it will get a little messy! With the three nail polishes we tried out she managed to apply them herself and although two fingernails were a little messy, she loved the fact that she could just peel them off and start again until they looked perfect.

The Colours We Tried:

  • Butterfly Wings
  • Bubble Gum
  • Little Poppet

Two glossy purple colours and one purple with sparkle, simple to apply with not much streaking at all as I said Lara who is 9 applied them easily and they stayed on very well. It needs two to three coats of polish and each coat takes about a minute to dry but once they are all done they do last for a few days. One thing Lara saw as an asset was that if she had applied the polish at the weekend and forgot to remove it for school she could just peel it off herself if a teacher noticed and told her off!

As it is gentle you can use it every day (Lara would!) and if you can’t peel if off for some reason a non toxic nail polish remover will get every last bit off quickly. I think this is a perfect gift for a young lady who likes to dress up like mine does and the fact that you can peel it off when don’t want it on any longer is genius. Even her big sister wanted to try it out too (in fact all three of us did!) and it is really fun for them to be able to put it on themselves and peel it off when they want to.

At £15.00 for a mini pack of three and £5.99 each for a full sized bottle these would make great little gifts for a birthday or Christmas and if you are having a little girls pamper party they would make an ideal addition to the party bags.

I like the idea of the peeling off – sounds ideal for the short school holidays as my daughter insists on wearing it for the holidays

Thats brilliant! My two girls would really love this! When their friends come round they love dressing up and putting on fashion shows so this would be a bonus, being able to get the varnish off quicker! Thanks for th great review! Love the colours too! xxx
