Kent’s Kitchen Posh Noodles £1.75

I am always on the lookout for fast, portable meal ideas and these noodles from Kent’s Kitchen are ideal when you are time poor and need to have a quick tasty meal. We tried the Spicy Szechuan noodles and at 222 noodles these are great for a lunch time meal that is not calorie laden. My OH really liked these noodles and I thought they might be a bit too spicy for me but it’s a subtle flavour and very tasty. All you need do is add boiling water and in five minutes it is ready to eat.

Maynards Sour Patch £1.00

Maynards have a new twist on their original Sour Patch Kids range as these ‘Sour Then Sweet’ do exactly that. They are sour at first and sweet on the inside, needless to say they went really quickly in our house and my daughters loved them.

Bassetts Berry Mix £1.48

Jelly babies are a childhood favourite of mine and now and again (especially at birthday parties) my girls will ask for some of these sweet treats. The new Berry mix flavour from Bassetts are made with natural colours and flavours, and the strawberry, raspberry and blackcurrant mix are tasty and a great bag for sharing.

Brioche Pasquier 2 X 50p

A very different type of snack from Brioche Pasquier as these bacon flavour snacks are made with french bread. Each bag is only 90 calories and low in saturated fat, and free from any artificial flavours, preservatives and colours. I really liked these little bites of bacon flavoured french bread, a different and tasty snack.

Natvia £2.00

I have tried lots of alternatives to sugar and was happy to see another to try in this month’s Degustabox.  Natvia is 100% naturally sourced and derived from stevia, it has no calories and low GI, and not only can you replace your sugar in your usual cup of tea or coffee with Natvia, but you can also use it in your baking as well. I liked the taste and the individual sachets are handy to take out with you or to work and as there are zero calories in each sachet I was happy to make the swap.

Crabbie’s Fruit 2 X £1.50

Voted product of the year Crabbie’s Alcoholic Fruits have new flavours to try, black cherry and raspberry and rhubarb.  I don’t usually buy fruity alcoholic drinks like these from Crabbies but I really enjoyed them and would most certainly buy them again. next on my list is the zesty lemon as it sounds perfect for Summer.

Lindt Assorted Mini Eggs  2 X £2.00

We know when Easter is on it’s way as there are plenty of gold bunnies and mini eggs from Lindt in the shops! The mini eggs in the March Degustabox were a selection of milk, white and dark and of course very delicious and popular with everyone in our house! These would be great if you are doing an Easter egg hunt this Easter break.

BBQEU Original Barbecue Sauce £3.99

A Bavarian barbecue sauce in four flavours, grill & beechwood, original (which we tried), honey & mustard, and chilli & horseradish.  Made with a Bavarian recipe and including cranberries, beer, honey and apples. It has a lovely smokey, fruity flavour and I was surprised just how much the whole family liked the addition of this with our meals.

Juiceburst 2 X £1.25

We tried mango & lime skinny (99 calories) and cranberry Juiceburst and found them to both be tasty and refreshing. The mango & lime skinny was my favourite and I really liked the combination of fruity flavours, I would definitely like to try some of the other 14 flavours on offer.

Jordan’s Lighter Granola £3.69

Buying a healthy but tasty breakfast cereal is always tricky so it was nice to see a lighter version of the ever popular Jordan’s Granola. With 30% less fat the strawberry and blueberry flavour was really tasty, and I liked the fact it has a resealable closure at the top of the packet to keep it fresh.
