Another month, another Look Fantastic beauty box, and if you have been following my reviews of the Look Fantastic beauty boxes you will know how much I have been loving the mix of hair, body and skincare products every month. The February and March boxes were my first two boxes and I felt they offered really great value for money.
In the April Look Fantastic box you will find 6 products at an incredible £15.00 with free delivery. I really like the mix of products that the Look Fantastic beauty boxes offer and have come to expect a really good selection of top quality products that I have had good use of each month.
The April Look Fantastic Beauty Box
Inika Eye Liner – Full Sized – Black Caviar £13.50
First to come out of the box was the creamy organic Inika eye liner in Black Caviar, a full sized liner to enhance and line your eyes. The pencil itself is creamy and smudges really well but I found it best for lining the eyes rather than adding to the water line as it so creamy. It lasts really well once on and the colour pigment is strong and bold and if you love a black liner as much as I do you will find this Inika liner invaluable.
Korres Softening Calendula soap – 40g £5.50
In a dinky 40g travel size the Korres Calendula soap is a softening and conditioning soap for the skin. It has a subtle fresh scent and is free from any mineral oil, parabens, and silicone and is mild enough for sensitive skins. With Vitamin E to condition and calendula as an emollient and mild antiseptic this Korres soap is perfect if you are off on holiday this summer.
Forza 30 Day Multivitamins £7.49
When I saw the dreaded D word on the Forza Diet Multivitamin Supplements I knew that Summer was well and truly on it’s way! Formulated for women on a diet this monthly packet of supplements will ensure that you have all the right vitamins and minerals you need while you are on a low calorie diet. If you are reducing your calories and avoiding certain food groups this would be a handy supplement to take to make sure you are keeping yourself healthy while losing weight.
Balance Me Revitalising Hand and Body Wash 99% Natural 100ml (Sample Size) £4.14
Sulphate free, zesty and bursting with essential oils (lemon and juniper) the Balance Me Hand and Body Wash is a lovely cleansing everyday wash that is perfect for the Summer months as it is so uplifting and fruity. The Balance Me products are made in the UK and against animal testing and promote naturally produced products, and this is a brilliant example of their quality products. I just loved using this wash as It made my skin so soft and I really like the benefit of the zesty citrus scent it left.
CB12 Mint/Menthol Mouthwash 50ml (Sample Size) £3.50
I have seen the CB12 in Boots when out shopping and have always wondered what it would be like to use, but to be honest the price has always put me off so it was good to be able to have a try. I really don’t like the strong very minty taste of many mouthwashes out there, and the minty menthol taste of the CB12 is mild enough that it doesn’t give the rush of mint that I was dreading. It does last very well at giving fresh breath and I would say if you do use a mouthwash for reliability and not-too-strong minty taste this would be a great contender for your next purchase.
Alterna Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist (25 ml Sample Size) £4.60
I have used the Alterna Bamboo Style texture mist before and I just love the scent it gives the hair along with the tousled just come back from the beach style it gives. The fine mist once applied will add texture, shine and a little volume to dry hair to give you the carefree boho waves you are looking for. The 25ml sample size is big enough to give you plenty of product to test to see if you like it, it’s so easy to use and effective and smells amazing.
So there you have it for another month, a little of everything to try out, and again for another month exceptional value, you may find you will get slightly different products in the Korres range you will either receive Calendula, Aloe & Soapwort or Milk soap, and the haircare product will either be a TIGI, Alterna Haircare or Redken haircare product.
Have you been trying out the Look Fantastic beauty boxes? If so what are you doing with the boxes afterward?! I want to up-cycle them as they are handy but I have so many beauty boxes now I am running out of creative things to do with them so any advice would be brilliant.
