    The Pauper's Cookbook by Jocasta Innes. Since it was first published in the late 1970s I've worn out three copies.

    My favourite go-to recipe book is an old Good Housekeeping one that my mum had as a wedding present in the early 60's. It's got all the basic recipes that are the basis to most recipes I make today.
