Family Games For Christmas- My Family Ties

Christmas and games go together perfectly, and on Christmas day in the evening we often end up playing the latest family game together. This year I have been on the hunt for some new games to add and I have found some really fun family games to keep you going over the whole festive season.  My girls love to play games together, and the every popular Monopoly is one of their favourites, last Christmas we got them the TMNT version which they love, and so this year I was looking for some really different games to keep them occupied over the holidays.

Pass the Pud – £17.99

‘Pass The Pud”(The Christmas edition of ‘Pass The Bomb) this is the ‘beat the burp’ game to play in a team of four or more players. Every card the player draws gives the team a tasty challenge. With four categories and a pot-luck variation too, this game will test you to come up with fast answers to beat the ‘pud’ before the timer goes off.
The game continues back and forth to each player until the ‘pud’ had the dreaded burp!
Each player has to try to beat the burp, and collect the most sixpences to win the game. A great game to play to get into the Christmas spirit for all the family.

My Body – Learning Fun With My World £9.99

My Body is a set of two puzzles which label the external and internal body parts.  The My Body Inside has 50 pieces, and the My Body outside has 36 pieces. The puzzles have lozenge shaped pieces to clearly identify which parts of the body they fit into. A really factual and fun way for children to learn about the body. With loads of great facts about the body this is an ideal start to exploring with your child all about the body and the importance of keeping healthy.
When your child is clearing this set away it has an added feature of a useful box a the top to post the pieces away tidily until next time. A great quality, well made puzzle made with children’s little hands in mind.
This game was developed in conjunction with Dr Amanda Gummer – a child psychologist, made in the UK and the games are made from 100% recycled board.
