Dermalogica is a brand I have had the pleasure of using for over 10 years and I was able to learn even more about the product ranges and the ethos of the brand, when I returned to collage to study beauty therapy four years ago.
What keeps me coming back to Dermalogica products is simple – the products all deliver the results they claim!
Whatever your skin concern they have a range made just for you and if you are at all unsure their resources are very customer focused and if you can’t find what you are looking for on their online information there are plenty of helpful Dermalogica technician’s across the country who will gladly assist your concerns.

My Thoughts On Using Dynamic Skin Recovery
The product itself is held in a practical pump dispenser, and upon applying the medium weight white cream to your skin, you only need to massage the cream in for a few seconds before it is absorbed. My skin is quite sensitive and while it is a little dry in places at the moment (cheeks and forehead mainly) it can be combination (dry and an oily t-zone) so I try to select skincare and cosmetics to address both these concerns.
I am very conscious about protecting my skin from the sun and having lived in Australasia I know just how much damage the harsh rays can do, so I was very glad to see the high broad spectrum SPF 50 within the cream as this is always something I look for in a moisturising cream. The cream is unscented, a medium thick consistency and I used roughly two pumps of the product for my face and neck each time.
What I noticed after a week of using the cream was that my fine lines were less noticeable and my skin was much smoother in appearance, the potent moisturiser specifically targets the signs of ageing to address all the effects of ageing on the skin and I am delighted with the results.
Available from Pure Beauty and priced at £61.30 (although it’s on offer at the moment at £55.25) it is at a higher price range than a lot of daily moisturisers, however what you are getting for the price is a moisturising cream which will target any signs of ageing or premature ageing you have in your skin already, while deeply protecting and hydrating your skin to visibly enhance the appearance.
If you do order this from Pure Beauty they have free postage for all Dermalogica orders and also you can choose to receive some free samples with your order which is very useful to help you decide if a product is right for you or not, Pure Beauty also have a scheme where you can earn cash back points on your purchases which you can then redeem against your future products, a very handy service and it is always good to see a company offering an incentive to come back and shop.
As with all the Dermalogica products I have used the Dynamic Skin Recovery didn’t let me down at all, it did what it said it would and helped to reduce the superficial tell tale signs of ageing such as the fine lines around my eyes and forehead, while giving my parched skin a much needed moisture boost, and what I noticed was my skin felt soft and moisturised for the entire day rather that just for an hour or so.
This is a powerful cream so do avoid the eye area and the lips as the skin is much thinner in these areas and you may find if you do apply on these delicate areas that the skin tingles a little and feels uncomfortable. This is the only downside I can tell you about! I did get some on my lips the first time I used it and it does tingle a little but once I was aware of this fact I just avoided applying in that area each subsequent time.
If you are looking for a moisturising cream that will help to lessen and correct the signs of ageing on your skin, give day long hydration while protecting against the harsh rays of the sun – this is the cream for you. Expect to see a marked difference within a week of using this cream, and once you have used it for a month you will notice a vast improvement in the texture and appearance of your skin.
