Look out for some cracking deals to be had over the next few weeks with Black Friday a day away I know there will be plenty of great discounts online and in-store to save ££’s on your Christmas shopping.  See below for some of my top ideas for kids this Christmas.

Christmas Gift Ideas For Kids 2015

1. Despicable Me Jumbo Art Set Lloyds Pharmacy £7.99

It’s always on my daughters list at Christmas and even though they are getting older now they both love some type of art set’s under the tree on the big day, this Despicable Me Jumbo Art Set from Lloyds Pharmacy is perfect as it has everything you could need to create a festive masterpiece. My girls love the Minions movies and this set has a huge selection of Minion themed art supplies for them to get inspired by and at £7.99 I think it offers great value for money.

2. Disney Frozen 52 Piece Art Set Lloyds Pharmacy £4.99

If your kids are hotly anticipating the follow up movie to Frozen (or maybe a few adults too!?) this 52 piece set from Lloyds Pharmacy will be the perfect gift idea this Christmas, plus at the brilliant price for under £5.00! When I saw the set I thought right away it would be a perfect gift to buy if your child exchanges festive presents with their friends at school, it’s packed full of art essentials, includes a case to store them all in and is under £5.00 making it fantastic value for money.

3. Steffi Love Pixie Lott Enchanted Fairy Doll £12.99 Available from Amazon, House Of Fraser, Toys R Us and The Entertainer.

One of the toys our youngest daughter asks for every year is a doll, and every year she has a new favourite she wants to add to the collection! This doll from Steffi and Pixie Lott is brilliant as her big sister plays Pixie Lott’s album all the time so she has come to love her music and the doll itself is gorgeous, has long blond hair like Lara and the added feature – she has wings! The wings fold back and pop up when you press the button and once you open up the box there is the added bonus you can go online to unlock secret puzzles and videos.   Take a look at the video below with our daughter’s favourite song from her album.

Where would Christmas be without a bit of a chocolate treat? Cue filling up my shopping basket with plenty of Cadburys goodies, it’s all for the kids of course! What a great selection they have this year too, the super-sized Christmas baubles come in a choice of two flavours, either the Oreo Baubles or the Snow Bites Baubles, they are ideal for sharing (with mum?!) as each bauble contains 4 x 34g bags. I always buy some chocolate Santa’s to put around the tree for the girls and the hollow milk chocolate Santa’s from Cadburys are ideal and are £1.49 to £2.99. With so many ideas from Cadburys we are spoiled for choice with some family favourites, the Endless Wispa £2.29, the Dairy Milk Winter Edition £1.42, and the ideal stocking fillers of Freddo Faces, Chocolate Buttons, and the Wispa tubes also £1.42 are all perfect for Christmas family treats.
Aimed to keep kids safe while online and help them learn through play, suitable for age 3+ this wi-fi tablet is a fun gift that will keep kids entertained with the apps and games from LeapFrog to help the player learn through play. Once charged the LeapPad3 will last for up to 7 hours of play, and has 4GB of memory and is so much fun for kids to play.  I have found it’s a perfect safe introduction to the tablet style of technology for younger kids, especially if they have older siblings who have tablets, as is generally the case they want to copy their older siblings and this is the perfect compromise.
The LeapPad3 is sturdy and very durable to allow for any knocks and bangs, it comes with both a re-chargeable lithium battery and a USB charger and also features a front and back facing camera and with the 4GB of memory you can store up to 20,000 photos, a fun feature that kids love to play around with, in our house that means lots of photos of the cat!
It comes with pre-loaded content with 10 apps and music however there are plenty of apps and games you can purchase separately to be used on the LeapPad3, all aimed to help them learn while playing. It’s a great starter tablet with lots of capability and there are plenty of various apps and games to choose from, a very sturdy ‘kid proof’ design which has been carefully thought out with rough and tumble in mind. There is no worry about what they could inadvertently be watching on the net as they can only view pre-approved content with the available wi-fi.
What a lovely toy from Sass & Belle for Christmas, perfect for any age and an ideal stocking filler. Marvin is 100% polyester and so soft and cuddly fit to become any child’s new favourite toy with his bright green trousers and blue and red striped top, prepare to fall in love with this cute little toy!

7. Tube Heros Diamond Minecart Hero Pack House Of Fraser £15.00

If you have kids who love Minecraft you will probably have heard of The Diamond Minecart (AKA Dan TDM) we were lucky enough to see him recently at the Warner Bros. London Harry Potter Studio Tour Hogwarts In The Snow launch (read my full review here) and my daughters were so thrilled to see him as they are big fans! This set is perfect if you have a Minecraft loving child, the beauty is it’s a unisex toy and comes with an action figure of Dan with his skeleton dog Grim.

8. Disney Tsum Tsum Create Your Own Bracelet and Beads Set House Of Fraser £15.00

My daughter loves the range of Tsum Tsum merchandise you can get from Disney and this make your own bracelet and bead set is a lovely gift idea for any child this Christmas to make a pretty piece of jewellery to keep. It comes with a handy organiser to keep the set safe and in one place and make sure if you check on the House Of Fraser website for any fesstive deals to get a better price as they have some great ones at the moment.

Merry Christmas!

My daughter has a leappad, we brought it for her last Christmas. Honestly it's THE BEST present we have ever brought her. That thing has been dropped countless times by her baby sister, but it's so good and great at helping her learn. Great gift guide!
