Bella Espresso Coffee Machine Review

Coffee is such an integral part of our daily life that I can’t imagine what it would be like to go without it, and as the years have gone on I have found we have got so increasingly choosy about which coffee we drink. That said a great quality fresh ground coffee needs a match in an equally good coffee machine, so without a doubt we were happy when our search brought us to the Bella Espresso Coffee Machine. During our review of the Bella Espresso Coffee Machine what struck us right away was the look of the machine, a sleek and compact unit, in a vibrant red and stainless steel, and call me shallow but the look of the machine does draw your eye in and looks very stylish in the kitchen.

Bella are a leading US brand of small electrical appliances and they have recently launched in the UK, the design of the appliances are chic and innovative with a very contemporary feel. The bold, vibrant, modern look to the Bella products are their brand identity, combining function with contemporary colour and design, the Bella products will without a doubt, add a touch of style and colour to your kitchen.

“The Kitchen Should Be fun, With Bella It Can Be”

Bella Expresso Coffee Machine

Once we found the ideal spot for the Bella Espresso Coffee Machine in our little kitchen, next we tested out the ease of use and the practicality of the machine. The machine features a single or double shot expresso option so this was really ideal for when my OH and I were in together, and I liked the versatility of this feature. With the 1.2 litre water capacity there is plenty of time between re-fills, even if you are a voracious coffee drinker like my OH! You can set your inner barista free with this machine as it has all the trappings of a professional cafe style coffee machine, and when you can make it yourself there is so much more satisfaction in the finished product.

Bella Expresso Coffee Machine

If a simple espresso is what you are looking for the Bella Espresso Coffee Machine delivers, it is easy to set up and to have a fresh expresso just minutes later, we both found it really easy to navigate and what I found of real benefit is that cleaning the machine post expresso was very straightforward and quick. If you do prefer a cappuccino or a latte the Bella Espresso Coffee Machine has that covered too, as the milk frother will steam the milk to add very easily. Don’t be afraid to give it a go, I was dubious at first but once you get the hang of it, it is so simple to use, and you can also turn your hand to make some top quality hot chocolate’s too, a skill I perfected to satisfy the most picky critics in our house, our two daughter’s!  What I really found useful about the steam wand for frothing the milk, was that it swivel’s out so you can froth the milk to the side of the machine, which makes it a lot easier to add to your chosen drink.

We found the machine easy to use, and it not only satisfied the coffee drinkers in our family but also made really creamy hot chocolate’s, and so easily too. I would also add that the machine has the benefit of being a really easy to clean machine, (music to my ears!) and although you can wash some of the removable parts of the machine in the dishwasher, it is so simple to remove the tray and clean it very thoroughly that you needn’t bother.

Priced at £74.99 it offers a convenient and user friendly way of  keeping a ready supply of hot drinks for the family, and if you frequent the usual coffee shop’s on a regular basis then this would make an economic addition to your kitchen.
