It’s 6 weeks to go until I do the Walk The Walk Moonwalk in London to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. Today (2nd April) sees the launch of Aldi’s Outdoor Specialbuys range just perfect for stocking up on useful and warm items for a walk just like mine.
As I will be doing the walk overnight it is so important to keep warm and stay visible and with this in mind I was really happy to see Aldi start their new range today with plenty of options and with perfect colours for the Walk The Walk – Black and Pink!
I find Aldi to be great on value and quality and I have written before about how much we like to shop at Aldi, and the money saving aspect of the shop keeps us coming back time and again.
Keep your hands warm this Spring with these soft stretch gloves (£4.99) from the Outdoor Range at Aldi, with two touch screen finger tips for an easy solution to checking your smart phone and staying warm without taking off your gloves.
The pink 100% extra fine Merino wool base layer (£14.99) is ideal for keeping warm and is perfect for keeping you insulated while being really lightweight. The breathable 100% natural material keeps you so warm and is a great option if you are out walking, and has the added benefit of boing odour resistant.
Aldi’s technical trousers (£14.99) are designed to be water repellant, breathable and hard wearing, and are perfect for the changeable Spring weather. With zipped pockets and an easy care fabric, I like the fact that these trousers are lightweight and functional while keeping you dry and warm.
The technical fleece (£8.99) is lightweight and perfect to layer up with the merino wool base layer when you are out and about and has the benefit of the highly insulating micro-fleece to keep you warm.
To finish the look and keep you warm and dry the technical soft-shell jacket (£19.99) is a zipped breathable jacket which is water and wind repellent. I love the pink and grey colour and the feel of the jacket too, it’s lightweight and yet really warm and protective, perfect for Spring.
As with all the Aldi Specialbuys you have to make sure you go in-store to snap them up, as the Outdoor Range is only while stocks last, so if you are looking to buy some outdoor clothing why not try out Aldi’s Specialbuys and get yourself kitted out.
